What is semi-permanent make-up?

The application of semi-permanent make-up is a non-invasive treatment that reproduces immaculately applied conventional cosmetics through the infusion of pharmaceutical grade pigments under the skin. Results are immediate, prolonged and define to your facial qualities and structure.

How long do the results last for?

Semi-permanent cosmetic procedures can last for many years. As our busy lifestyles involve differing environments and circumstances pigment longevity and definition will vary depending on numerous influences such as sun exposure, skin type and overall lifestyle choices. All treatments require a perfection visit 4-6 weeks after initial procedure and then approximately every 12-18 months.

Do I need to obtain my own anaesthetics before treatment?

Regulations have recently changed in regards to the sale of anaesthetics. You are now required to order personally prescribed anaesthetics from your local pharmacy. Please allow at least 7 days for your order to arrive.

Does it hurt?

Client comfort is most important and our major consideration. Prior and during the procedure topical numbing agents are applied to ensure you are completely at ease during treatment. Client feedback has revealed that treatment is deemed more uncomfortable that painful.

How long does the procedure take?

The first initial appointment will last approximately 1.5-2 hours including the consultation. The perfection visit 4-6 weeks later will take approximately 1 hour.

Will medication affect my procedure?

In general terms treatment is not expected to have adverse implications. There are some medications however that can affect the colour and procedure. It is important that you discuss medications you are taking with me during your consultation.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment as this allows time to complete a client form and discuss your treatment. Late arrivals unfortunately limits the time of your treatment, and will be charged the full cost. Late cancellations and no-shows impact me significantly. I understand that you may need to change your appointment, but I kindly ask for 24 hours notice as a courtesy. Cancellations or changes within 24 hours will incur a fee.
